This looks scary, intense, unsettling, and I think I’ll be gripping the armrests in the theater seats tightly and not drinking anything since I don’t want to miss one bit…
Behold the trailer:
So, are you up for this?

Yes, this looks really good!
Is there something. . .wrong with the actress who plays the daughter?
I think it looks good and I think they did a great job of making the daughter kinda creepy and unsettling looking.
No, she just has unusual features that I think they played up for the sake of her character.
Here is a better look at Milly Shapiro:
It looks decent but not amazing.
I’ve heard people claim we are in a new golden age of horror movies. I’d tend to agree, the last few years have seen a lot of high quality horror hit the market
It looks unsettling and creepy as fuck to me, I’m excited after watching the trailer, the transition from the doll houses to the real world was a nice little touch and tastefully done.
The little girl is not to pleasant to the eyes, bless her heart.
What I want to find out is why Toni Collette’s character is recreating her own family and house in that miniature house.
And why the little girl cuts off the pigeon’s head.
And what the deal is with that clucking sound she makes a few times.
And…a lot of things.
My initial thought was it was some sort of voodoo type of thing going on with the doll house, but I’m betting its something deeper than that. The trailer also makes it hard to know who to root for, the girl seems evil, the Mom is a weirdo, and the Grandma is creepy as shit.
Seems there is also a theme of sins of the Father, or rather Mother thing going on too.
I am totally blaming Granny for passing down whatever effed-up thing it is.
It features Ann “Aunt Lydia” Dowd! It will be interesting to see if she is more (or less)of a monster in this than she is in Handmaids Tale.
