Here's to Karl Rove

Story

It appears that Karl Rove is to be congratulated for lightening up right wing chumps.

I guess that just proves the rich Pubbies need to keep their tax cuts, to make up for the cash Rove just flushed down the toilet for them.

No wonder the little turd was so upset last night.

I just love this sentence:

You can bet a book blaming Romney is already in the making:

What was that they said… “all we need is a monkey with an opposing thumb that can sign documents” (I think it was Norquist talking about how weak Obama’s chances were and why he wasn’t worried about Romney)

Guess “Bush’s Brain” should have gone underground with Bush.

I love it when Republicans eat their own. “Right now there is stunned disbelief that Republicans fared so poorly after all the money they invested,” said Brent Bozell, president of For America, an Alexandria-based nonprofit that advocates for Christian values in politics. “If I had 1/100th of Karl Rove’s money, I would have been more productive than he was.”

Donald Trump posted a message on Twitter saying: “Congrats to @KarlRove on blowing $400 million this cycle. Every race @CrossroadsGPS ran ads in, the Republicans lost. What a waste of money.”

Jonathan Collegio, a Crossroads spokesman, declined to comment for this article. Rove couldn’t be reached.

Don’t give money to that guy over there! Give money to me!

FDR did it twice.

ETA: If he’s only talking about the popular vote, then Grover Cleveland did it as well. He actually won the highest share of the popular vote in the election he lost.

I enjoyed hearing Angus King personally thank Rove in his victory speech.

I don’t know why the “job creators” are so upset. Look at all the jobs they created: actors with no souls to star in the ads, salaries for all the “little people” who actually did all the work to dress, light and tape the ads, the IT guys to make sure nobody’s tail was showing, the intern who brought coffee…all that money provided employment for hundreds of people. They should be trumpeting that as a Victory!

This wouldn’t mean anything even if it was true. Yet it’s being repeated throughout right wing America endlessly. 1. The number if presidents re-elected in real terms is low. Not enough data to be of use. Like the facts that “no president has been relected with unemployment over 7.2%”. 2. Obama won the first time by a huge margin. It would be much more surprising if he managed to beat that. The fact he won this time the way he did doesn’t mean he’s a big fat failure.

See, it’s not really a win if…

Any port in a storm.

I love the smell of buyer’s remorse in the morning.

HEY! Just cut it out. Rove is just sticking with the Republican program:

We’re not going to be dragged down by fact checkers here. As Romney pollster Neil Newhouse stated, “we’re not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers.”

Besides, to borrow the words of a Jon Kyl’s spokesman, "his remark was not intended to be a factual statement."

Yeah. Of all the post-election finger-pointing, doomcrying and general weeping and tantrums, the whole argument that the majority of voters in the majority of states (and a significant number in nearly all other states) didn’t REALLY elect a president just sickens me.

Remember when Democrats used to shit their pants in fear at any mention of Karl Rove- or even the thought of what Rove was going to do to defeat their candidate and crush their dreams? I guess maybe that’s finally over, and good riddance. It was embarrassing to read and it’s the kind of thing that makes me glad I’m not a Democrat anymore.

Who else read the thread title like it was one of those Bud Light commercials?

Now I really want to see that.

Karl looked like a guy who knew the fix was in, and couldn’t believe that the fix didn’t actually come in.

Megan Kelly to Karl Rove: Is this jut math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better? Or is this real? Link

I was flipping baack and forth between MSNBC and Fox that night and was lucky enoungh to catch this.

Along with the scene of Kelly walking back to the office where the number chrunchers were so she could ask them: WTF?

I can’t find the story or link, but yesterday on Fox News Internet edition, the top story just ripped into Karl Rove saying he was totally useless, squandered money and nobody in their right mind should ever hire him again.

Boy, those guys don’t waste a second taking their heroes and putting them in front of a firing line.

Then again, what would you expect from the Republicans who didn’t even invite McCain, Palin, Bush or Cheney to appear at their convention. My guess is Romney shouldn’t spend a whole lot of time preparing a speech supporting the next Republican candidate at their next convention, and Paul Ryan won’t need to run any marathons to dash over there with his invitation either.

Whodathunk that two minutes after the election, Romney, Ryan and Karl Rove were suddenly going to be tossed to the lower 47% with the other losers of prior elections.

Goes to show you what a lovely, forgiving, Christian group the Republican Party is at heart. Just think how generous and forgiving they would have been to the poor and uninsured and unemployed who hadn’t voted for them.

Jon Stewart was ecstatic over that clip.

I wonder if all the money the campaigns and SuperPACs spent on the election actually provided the economic stimulus that kept the economy going enough for Obama to win. Now that would ironic, doncha think?

Rove should have been done prior to the thumping the Republicans received in the midterms, when he said

I don’t know why anyone listens to him anymore.
