I’m as anti-nickname as they come (thank god that shit finally stopped in the Survivor threads), but you’ve got to pick your battles.
Referring to Maya and Alejandro as “the Wonder Twins” is pretty reasonable seeing as how they are the only twins on the show and it’s a descriptive nickname that is familiar to everyone.
As long as it’s not something ridiculous like “ikiN” I think we’re doing OK.

Also, I don’t think we know their last name, so it’s a convenient way of referring to them as a group.
In a show like this, one where you are not really emotionally invested in the characters, it’s more likely that you’ll recognize who is being referred to by a descriptive nickname rather than the character’s real name.

Oh, believe me, the crazed superfans managed to catch that one early in the first season. Courtesy of the Heroes Wiki I also just learned that the things the guard in Matt’s hallucination had been saying that I couldn’t understand were apparently reversed and somebody played the audio backwards to find out what he said:
When the sound is reversed, the guard says “You know the drill Parkman, hands against the wall”, and then “You abandoned your kid, you a deadbeat, and now you’re gonna pay.”
I’ve got a theory that all the people who dislike Hiro in the not so distant past are going to smack themselves before this season is done. Hopefully by the time Chapter Two starts we’ll have a great big revelation about the identity of the killer who puts Kensei’s logo on all the people who get attacked or killed.
