linderman didn’t WANT to.
Hiro!!! You rawk!
(Was Jessica really- you know- all this time?)
definitely setting up for next year’s ‘big bad.’
“I know what you’re thinking Nathan.”
“Yeah- that thing she did was really cool!”
Did I miss something from last week - is there a reason the streets are deserted?
As soon as they walked into the office I thought Claire should escape through the window. Nicely done.
No. “You know” (forgot her name too) knows about Jessica from Linderman.
god, i’'m glad that bitch got herself decked! it was about time!
Looked like the same actress when she dropped the illusion. Not a fat or ugly woman. Hard to tell though.
I would just like to point out that I so totally called Natahn’s heroic sacrifice, like, months ago.
Yeah the cardinal rule of this show comes true: never doubt the obvious answer.
I was soooo pissed about Sylar, though. Resolution is not a complicated word, dangit
I knew that Nathan had to be the one to save the day since he was the one that everyone was trying to tempt. No way Mohinder or Noah wouldn’t make there first priority making sure Syler was most sincerely dead.
Haven’t read a bit of this thread. Just popping in to say that I’m glad that I didn’t make any bets (I didn’t, did I?) Because I would have lost. So many people predicted this ending, and I said “no way”. Damn, I feel stupid. But, they did set up season 2 (Molly’s line about him being able to see her) and season 3 (Sylar seemingly crawling away.) Until that last bit, I was thinking that about 50 weeks from now, Sylar would seem like a relatively minor nuisance, easily dispatched with a sword.
I’m just gonna borrow Hiro’s sword from Ando so I can hunt down and stabbity-stab the writers for giving Sylar an “out”. I know it’s riffing on comics, and villains don’t stay dead in the comics, but damn that was an annoying cop out.
Niki remains the most annoying hero. Klonks Sylar with the parking meter, then… runs back to hold DL while the the real heroes fight. Um, either he’s dying or he isn’t Niki, and you’re doing nothing for it either way – maybe you could be useful? for once? Or not.
At least Hiro isn’t Kensai. Probably.
And, man, Kara just can’t catch a break… first Leoben, then she dies, and now she’s missing an arm and two legs. Sheesh.
I didn’t predict this ending, I’ve simply wondered for a while why Peter himself wouldn’t just fly away. I guess I missed something about him not being able to use his powers whilst in bomb mode.
Lots of HoYay there with Peter and Nathan and Hiro and Ando but that’s okay by me, loved it and I got a little verklempt in both cases.
Ya know, many of us predicted that Nathan would fly Peter off to explode somewhere safe but it was still great to see it. After all the stuff about powers, it was actually nothing to do with powers that “saved” the day, it was just Claire appealing to her bio-dad to do the right thing.
Bye, Sylar. I am so glad that Hiro was the one to peg you. Did anyone catch the visions in his eyes as he (hopefully) died? Did his body disappear down a manhole or was I misreading what they showed at the very end?
I wonder if Mohinder will take charge of Molly or if Jessica and DL will take her in? They do have the powers to protect her and Micah could use a sibling.
So, I always thought Mr. Deveaux had a power, I still have no idea what it is but yay!
Nathan, there’s no reason why you both had to fly away from the city. That was an unnecessary sacrifice, unless it’s been established that Peter can’t use two powers at the same time (has it?).
Katee Sackhoff’s the villain of Bionic Woman, not the hero.
Yep, season 2.
I can’t be bothered to look back at past threads to see if Otto was the first to make that prediction, but I am humbled.
Now that I’ve read the thread:
Why didn’t Linderman heal what’s-his-name (I guess maybe he didn’t want to?)? And what’s his power (injecting timed-release visions)?
Even if we assume that Peter was not in control of his faculties enough to fly, couldn’t Nathan have dropped him off somewhere around the stratosphere and said “here’s where I get off. See you when your skin grows back.”?
Peter specifically told her to go.
I’m happy to fanwank that he was concentrating so hard on, you know, not blowing up, that he didn’t have the necessary mental strength to call up any of his other powers.
There was something that looked like a finger but I think it was just the cockroach (Sylar’s sigil beast, apparently).
Not only should Peter have been able to just fly away, but Nathan wouldn’t have had to sacrifice himself if they’d just let Claire shoot Peter. It’s gotta be easier for Peter to heal a bullet hole than to put himself back together after exploding, right?
Wait, how does Ted’s power work?
