Hmm…
Wait…
Hmmmmmm…
I thought…
Can’t Claire’s blood bring people back from the dead? Didn’t that happen when Noah died in season 2?
So…Nathan?

They’d better hurry up. He’s not getting any warmer
Oh, come on!!!
Yeesh…
Wow… that was beyond retarded.
Not that I don’t appreciate a nice Return of the Jedi homage…
I had no idea that was the Season Finale until I saw “End of Volume 4”. Kinda anti-climatic, especially since they didn’t even show the big fight.
So did they somehow turn Nathan’s body into Sylar’s…to burn on the pyre?
How? What? How?
No, it was that dead shapeshifter.
I just realized that we got through this entire Volume without Ando super-charging a single hero. Come on writers, that was the one thing I was looking forward to.
What a miserable death for Nathan. I really thought they were going to use Claire’s blood to resurrect him.
His power isnt even supercharging anymore, now he shoots crimson lasers apparently.
This is why it was such a phenomenally bad idea to make Claire’s blood magic resurrection juice.
They’ve gone to that well (vein…plasma bag…whatever) a few times, people were getting pissed. They used it to heal Noah when he got shot; Suresh mixed it with his blood to cure the virus (one syringe for Maya and her gunshot wound, one swiped by Sylar). Actually, I think that’s it. Adam gave Nathan a squirt of it when he was all nuke burned in season 2. OK, I think that’s totally it. Hell, it’s not that often, and he is her dad fer crap sakes. So who knows that it’s Sylar in Nathan’s meatbag (Nathan in Sylar’s meatbag, whichever)? Noah, Angela, Matt-not Peter or Claire? Gotta save some angst for next season.
One thing that pissed me off was up until now they never went to the creepy pervert well with Sylar, which I appreciated because it’s just too easy to villainize a character that way . Well, I guess they had to do something to de-humanize him so the audience wouldn’t be too pissed they virtually killed him
Hope I wasn’t suppose to spoiler that.
Who was the guy that liquid Tracy killed at the end?
The agent who shot Micah-lar and made him go splash
Was it weird that I still found it less creepy than Claire and Nathan’s Mexican Adventure?
I think the biggest problem that the Heroes writers have is that they forget so much. Claire’s magic blood, Peter’s future girlfriend, how various powers work… ANd what ever happened with Parkman painting D.C. blowing up? And what about Parkman painting the future?
I was amazed tonight when they showed Nathan and his sons.
Boo-urns. That sucked in just about every way. If there is no delicious Sylar next year, why would anyone bother to watch this crapfest?
I think the finale pretty much showed that next season will feature the reemergence of the Sylar side of Natelar (Sythan?). So I’m not counting Sylar out. I’m curious as to what the main plotline for next season will be though…
I expect the next series will be based around Sylar “explaining” to his new family just why you don’t mindfuck a guy whose mind is “Quite Fucked Up Enough, Thank You”
What IS it with this mental show and its bizarre compulsion to make handbrake turns into valleys of total shite? WHO is this new plot turn supposed to appeal to - people who basically hated Sylar AND Nathan but are nonetheless psyched at the prospect of some weird amalgam of the two?
For me, whose favourite character has always been Nathan and least fave is Sylar, this ep could be tailor made for me, huh? Still given how some of my friends used to argue when I would say that as a character Nathan gets treated pretty shittily I at least get to point out how right I was all along because jeSUS, that’s the worst tv death ever. Not only is this unbelievably lame (how basically can Matt even be able to DO that?), it’s downright mean. So basically you have this person being led to believe by their mum that they nearly died but they were just in time and all the time you’re this soulless killer with a few borrowed memories? And wandering why your mum and former employee are watching you like hawks all the time? That’s seriously unpleasant. Poor real Nathan.
On a trivial note, nice to see Peter’s mad med skillz at work in not being able to tell the difference between a body dead for minute and one dead for days that has been stored in a deep freeze. Maybe Bennet & Angela microwaved it first before serving.
Gah, I’m totally conflicted about this ep. On the one hand, I actually like the whole Sylar-as-Nathan thing, it’s a good setup for future conflict, and it’s just so creepy and horribly wrong, yet done with, well, at least what the characters believe to be good intentions; and it must take a horrible toll on Angela to have to make that decision. On the other hand, everybody just forgetting about Claire’s resurrecting blood is simply retarded. I mean, Noah, you used to be dead, too, remember? Didn’t set you back too much.
And it might not matter much anymore, but I’m still peeved at the whole changing clothes through DNA thing. They made a point, in the beginning, that that’s not how it works; to then have it work that way when it suits you (and it’s not like one couldn’t have found another way out with some good writing) is just bad.
Yeah, that whole thing just got dropped totally. Not that it ever made much sense, though. Still, at least some kind of explanation would have been nice, but the writers seem to just about have given up bothering with such trivialities.
