Some rank-and-file Republican voters sincerely believe that abortion is wrong. However, the leaders of the Republican Party believe in only one thing: partisan politics. They only serve the top 1% of the top 1%, who give them billions of dollars.
To be fair, the Democrats, for the most part, are not hugely different. What they enact primarily benefits the wealthiest Americans (who fund their campaigns) with an aim toward maintaining a nominally stable society in which the upperest crust can keep and expand their uppercrustiness and wealth. They are much subtler about it than the Republicans, but the net difference is vanishing.
Lest anyone complain about “bothsidesism”, that isn’t what this is. Rather, you’re stating that the two sides aren’t Republicans and Democrats, the two sides are rich people and everyone else.
I look forward with morbid fascination to the one debate I think hes going to participate in
Didn’t that debate happen tonight?
Yes, it did. Another wild senate debate. Warnock and Walker clash over abortion, family strife and more in high-stakes Senate debate
Walker doesn’t believe in The Big Lie? He’s going to lose favor with Trump.
That genuinely shocks me. I was certain he would.
Walker managed to stay on target tonight, and not talk of bovines in fields.
In other news Atlanta lost the baseball game.
So he ordered a de-calf.
This race shows how low Republicans will go in their endless thirst for power. Walker offers nothing but a vote for McConnell for Majority Leader but apparently that is more than sufficient for the party to pull out the stops for this imbecile.
Oh I missed it
Thought Walker would for sure blow it ughhh
Ah. Now that is an argument that McConnel actually likes him.
Still, I bet he wishes for a different candidate that didn’t make the pubbies have to work as such a disadvantage.
Unfortunately, he may well benefit from a “Bush bounce” – i.e. expectations of his performance were so low that just managing to clear an extremely low bar will improve his standing with voters.
Apparently, he held up a fake police officer’s badge at the debate.
- How could anybody still vote for him?
- Isn’t impersonating a police officer a crime? He’s been saying he’s a police officer, and now he’s presented a “badge” as evidence of this.
I saw a clip of that. He was chastised for bringing a “prop.” What is the evidence that does or doesn’t have a real badge? (I’m sorry I haven’t followed it closely, but it’s conceivable that he’s an “honorary” something and was given a badge) I met a young woman in a bar one night who had a deputy coroner’s badge. That’s all I’ll say about that.
I haven’t followed it that much either, but from what I understand he’s told a bunch of lies:
- Being an FBI agent.
- Claimed to work with GA law enforcement.
He has been given the title of “honorary deputy” but I’m pretty sure they don’t give you a badge for that for precisely the reason of unscrupulous people pretending to be a police officer. Assuming such a badge said “Honorary deputy” someone may see the deputy but not the honorary part if it is flashed up quickly.
I’m given to understand he once claimed there was a mist you could walk through that would completely eliminate COVID. So. Yeah. He doesn’t seem to be completely in tune with reality or truth.
Herschel the environmentalist Walker
We got some of the cleanest air in America, but we are gonna spend billions on the Green New Deal to clean up our air more, but we don’t control the air, so our good air is gonna go over to China, but then China’s bad air got to go somewhere, so it’s gonna come back overhere and we got to clean it up all over again.
so much fu
I got something similar when I was six years old visiting the pilots in the cockpit.
And it was a dry mist. How is mist dry?
Heat can be wet, right?
