Actually, Bean, I love being called Fred.
It’s lno. That’s a lower-case LNO. I am not Ino. If you want, you can call me Eleno. That works. Noem is also acceptable.
Your name is also the answer to an obscure riddle that I composed a coupla years ago:[ul]Sword.
Why?
Zymogen.
Why?
Grail.
Why?[/ul]Probably doesn’t make a lot of sense unless you are far too familiar with hermetic philosophy. (I spent about 8 years living in the 17[sup]th[/sup] century.)
I keep hoping for a poster named Virile Stallion to show up so that we can be confused.
A decent amount of people abbreviate my name, I only really recall seeing zwei, though. That’s fine with me, but it makes me think of chanting, “we’re number 2! We’re number 2!”
I would prefer to be addressed as Goddess if it’s all the same to you folks.
Damn you. Damn you to hell.
okay, all together now . . .
NORM!!!
Everyone always asks if they can call me Guin, which amuses me, because it really doesn’t matter. I mean, I’ll know who you’re talking to.
Jumpin Jesus on a pogo stick! throatshot’s female?!?!?!
[sub]your name creeps me out, tho**
VDarlin, V, Darlin, or even VD are all perfectly acceptable names for which to call me.
~V
It’s be kinda pointless to abbreviate my name. As for what I’d prefer to be called, I’d accept Your Ladyship, Lady Katherinne, Mizz Kat or Supreme Deity of the Felines.
You can call me La Jefa Grande.
I always call that moderator up there Uke. And, call me strange --no wait, call me La Jefa Grande. O.K., you can call me La Extrana Jefa Grande-- but throatshot sorta kinda brings to mind, umm, how do I put this— oral sex.
Well, since nobody much refers to me anyway…I don’t much care one way or the other. Usually I’m addressed as Silky (which is fine…) and in fathom or straightdope chat I go by Sylkyn. It’s shorter. I found out that using my regular screen name on mIRC, it ends up looking like “SilkyThr”.
How attractive.
I’ve often pondered the idea of going ahead and asking for a name change, since I seem to be more readily identifiable as either of those two names.
But that would mean sending an email to a mod, and since I don’t consider it that big a deal, it ain’t happened yet. Probably won’t, either.
Hey, I am often referred to as LoW, which totally threw me the first time I saw it. I don’t guess I have a preferred abbreviation, but if any of y’all want to call me Juli, that’d be OK.
(Add me to the list of surprised people who thought throatshot was a guy.)
You may call me, “Mister Steve Martin.”
Non-preferred forms of address:
Qad
Qaddie
The Gopster
Merkie
Preferred:
Q
Qt
QtM
Slithering one
Not Quagdop the Mercodian? Which is surely you’re real name (in my head).
And I’m Francesca. Always Francesca.
Or Acsecnarf if you’re feeling contrary.
Guess I should have used some caps in my name cause I’d much rather don or 'keyoatey than donkey.
Your. Not you’re.
