Hey, check out my book cover!

They just posted it at Amazon:

If that link doesn’t work, just go to amazon.com and look up “Anna Held.” Isn’t it gorgeous? I can’t take any credit for it, of course, it’s my publisher’s designer. But didn’t they do a great job with it? I’m really delighted, can’t wait to get a copy to frame!

I agree with you, Eve, that is a beautiful cover! Congratulations!!
(It reminds me of some old photos of my GrandMa, “back in the day”)

I know I’m not alone wishing you and your latest work much success.

Great Eve. It is beautiful. I’m so proud of what you have accomplished.

I’ve learned that if someone says something unkind about me, I must live so that no one will believe it.

I was going to order the book, but with the exchange rate and S&H, it would have cost about 50 patoots. Kind of pricey for a bio about a Swedish has - been.

Maybe in a few months I’ll be rummaging in the remainder bin at Cole’s and get lucky. Probably pick up a copy for three bucks.

Oh, lighten up! I’ve ordered it.

Incidentally, what’s your cut per copy, Eve?

Goodness, I don’t know what’s gotten into me today.

So Eve, do you find yourself clicking over to Amazon a dozen times a day to see if your ranking has gone up?

“A Swedish has-been?” Golly, you DO need to bone up on your theater history! Don’t feel badly if you don’t order it—I couldn’t afford to buy it if I didn’t write it, myself!

I get about $2.00 for each copy sold. Remember that I spent about $3,000 on photo rights, research materials, books, etc.! So if I break even, I’ll be happy.

It won’t be available till mid-April, at which time I’ll ask everyone I know to write glowing reviews in to Amazon: “Best book ever published! I am going to tear my eyes out so I won’t accidentally read any other book!”

Eve congratulations! I will order the book as well… I hope you make a million!!!

Yours truly,
aha

Wow. That looks great! I hope you go platinum and knock that JK Rowlings and John Grisham off the Best Seller list (greedy so and so’s!)

Congrats and give yourself a much deserved pat on the back!

I put the book on my wish list.

Maybe I’ll get lucky. It could happen.

“Maybe I’ll get lucky. It could happen.”

—Could be, hon; when are ya gonna be in New York next?

I’m leaving right now, Eve.

Be still, my foolish heart.

—Wally, after what you’ve been through, I’d watch my phrasing!
