If that link doesn’t work, just go to amazon.com and look up “Anna Held.” Isn’t it gorgeous? I can’t take any credit for it, of course, it’s my publisher’s designer. But didn’t they do a great job with it? I’m really delighted, can’t wait to get a copy to frame!
I was going to order the book, but with the exchange rate and S&H, it would have cost about 50 patoots. Kind of pricey for a bio about a Swedish has - been.
Maybe in a few months I’ll be rummaging in the remainder bin at Cole’s and get lucky. Probably pick up a copy for three bucks.
Oh, lighten up! I’ve ordered it.
Incidentally, what’s your cut per copy, Eve?
Goodness, I don’t know what’s gotten into me today.
“A Swedish has-been?” Golly, you DO need to bone up on your theater history! Don’t feel badly if you don’t order it—I couldn’t afford to buy it if I didn’t write it, myself!
I get about $2.00 for each copy sold. Remember that I spent about $3,000 on photo rights, research materials, books, etc.! So if I break even, I’ll be happy.
It won’t be available till mid-April, at which time I’ll ask everyone I know to write glowing reviews in to Amazon: “Best book ever published! I am going to tear my eyes out so I won’t accidentally read any other book!”
