I recently saw a documentary called “The Man Who Could Read Babies Minds”, in which The Man in the title went to the US to be tested by Randi. Here’s what happened: Randi picked out 10 objects for a couple with their baby to handle, while the test subject was kept in a room out of sight, and asked to state what the baby was holding at specific moments.
After just ONE RUN through the test, and only getting 1 correct - a figure Randi said was statistically average - the test was finished. I don’t know how much editing was made for the program, but I can’t imagine such a test taking longer than a hour to carry out. If this is an indication of Randi’s rigorous testing, colour me less than impressed.

Claimants have to agree to the test before anything happens. Randi does not spring surprise tests on people. How many chances should he have had? How many were necessary? If the man could do what he claimed, this should have been sufficient. This man failed his own test, and failed it miserably.
