I hate to see the middle excluded in these discussions. I think that Huerta88 has posted often enough on sufficient topics that a strong defense can be made that the “88” is not “HH”. That, of course, does not preclude the poster Huerta88 from harboring various racist or ethnic-bashing prejudices–it just means that any prejudices he harbors do not arise from an admiration of Hitler or the Nazis.

Huerta88, your handle hurts you was a thread that Bricker started back in the day. It was a spinoff of trainwreck called Lying whore. In Bricker’s thread, we discussed certain things that was said by our friend Huerta88 in that other thread; in particular was his nasty accusation that I and other black women wanted to be raped by white men. At first you didn’t believe me, but I finally convinced you of my point-of-view, as indicated by when you posted this.
But you still didn’t think that made him racially suspect, as shown by this later post of yours here (still in that Bricker thread). To point out the flaw in your reasoning, I posted this in response.
In the Lying whore thread (the train wreck nightmare) we didn’t argue with each other at all. We were both on the side of sanity.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about this thread at all. Although the substance of this current pitting is pretty thin stuff, his history on this board makes your feelings justified, albeit 5 years late.
Yes, I agree. I’m not trying to say that Huerta is a neoNazi-- just that his comments in that GQ thread OP were racist. The reference to his “88” showing was meant as a play on his username and the baggage that it carries. I was somewhat taken aback by how casually he made his snipes at the Japanese, and that he felt the need to continue that line of posting even in response to a moderator asking him to stop.
OK. I think we’re both mixing up our memories of that interaction. Your original post here implied that **Huerta **made his master-style rape comment in Bricker’s thread. That threw me off, since I knew it was in the Duke rape case thread.
But you’re right, it was the **Bricker **thread that brought my attention to the Duke rape thread-- I had not participated in that thread until you pointed his comment out to me. To me, the comment was much more misogynist than racist, which is why I said he owed you an apology.
Frankly this conclusion makes no sense to me, but that’s okay.
I think we can conclude that John has always fantasized about Japan being an exotic island full of nothing but beautiful women.

As enormous as that thread is (and why exactly was it so huge? I don’t even think 9/11 got as much bandwith), you probably need to read more than just this post to get the full context of what was said. And to be honest, this post wasn’t even the most disturbing thing he posted; the racism underlying his entire thesis makes me shake my head at the naivety of anyone who thinks his username is some unfortunate coincidence.

Sad that you’ve been letting him live rent-free in your head all these years, but I think I understand perfectly well what the guy meant: you didn’t want the rape in itself, but you did want grounds for a big fucking chip on the old shoulder - and I seem to remember some stats being posted at the time to the effect that white-on-black rape in the present time and in the area under discussion was vanishingly rare, no matter how much you talked up the spectre of 19th-century slavemasters and their charges to support the assertion that it must be going on all the time.
