Hello all,
been lurking here since either 2000 or 2001. I read posts here almost everyday and spend WAY too much time on the the boards. Joined finally because I am heading to Chicago this weekend on a last minute vacation with my family. I have some questions on what to do and wasnt sure if to post those questions here or in Straight Dope Chicago to get quick answers.

Well we had planned on camping in Indiana for the weekend but we are getting March weather instead of late April weather and staying in a hotel sounds a lot better than a cold and wet tent 
Oh wait, I get what you mean. Yea took me a long time to decide if I wanted to join. Price is kinda steep.
What I mean is I never thought I had anything to add to what you guys wrote. I was just here to learn and be entertained by you all
I never have anything useful to add either. I just throw sarcasm at the wall, and see if it sticks.
