:smack: Crap! I scrolled down without seeing **Swampbear’s ** post, and now I’m truly the Prince of Dorkness! Technically, though, his was aimed at Cervaise, so I’m still the first to say it to Elendil’s Heir.
Despite your peevish and unreasonable denial of cake, I’m still going to wish you a Happy Birthday, too, Cervaise. So there.
And with me too. Today’s my birthday as well. A few years older than 42, I’m afraid (but only a few), but there you go.

Hey, Happy Birthday, Spoons! I’m obviously in good company…
Okay, fine. I hope each of us had a good birthday, with copious cake for all. 
We’d had my favorite cake (my wife’s family-recipe Lemon Ahead cake) just a week or two earlier, so instead she made my next-most-favorite dessert, ginger cookies, and dressed them up with icing and candles. Had a nice dinner and gifties with Mrs. Heir and the boys, and saw “V for Vendetta” later that night. Later that weekend, went to the Cleveland Natl. Air Show (the Blue Angels and a B-1B flyover were highlights), enjoyed a cookout with friends, and played in a neighborhood baseball game (getting a hit every time I was at bat).
All in all, a great birthday weekend. Thanks, everybody!
