The only Doors (or at least Mrs. Doors) food-related druthernot is liver, and if you brought liver to a party, men in white coats carrying butterfly nets would be coming for you.
How about you bring the Cajun Shrimp Dip and the shrimp, and I’ll bring the salsa (if I can find fresh cilantro and jalapenos) and the pretty multi-colored tortilla chips.

It looks as if all of my sibs will be in attendance as well as some old friends from when we lived hereabouts before. So it’s not a DopeFest per se, but a good time should be had by all anyway.

I might be able to go, depending on how far away it is, since my mom won’t want to drive two and a half hours to get to a semi-fest, and she won’t be too happy about supervising my driving, either. Unless, of course, some friendly Doper wants to help out, which I’m not really hoping for at the moment, since there isn’t really enough time to set that up.
After checking Mapquest and my mom: my sister has a recital Saturday evening, so I can’t drive there or be driven by my mom, since our current car is too unreliable right now to risk it. Any takers to be my ride? Ah, well, there’s another fest coming in October.
