Hey Michigan Dopers! Everybody else is doing it....

I vote for ZenBeam, seeing as how he/she (I don’t know!) actually lives in Ann Arbor.

Really, though, I’ll do what I can. Just tell me what you want.

Hey Michiganders!!

Just thought I’d share a little deal I put together concerning the 1997 split national championship (college football).

So, did we decide on Saturday the 22nd of January at Grizzly Peak? How about at 5 or 6:00pm? We should be able to beat the dinner rush at that time.

Yay! Something to look forward to in January! Sounds fabulous to me.

6:00 pm would be about the worst time. Right in the middle of the dinner rush. Figure by 5:00, or between 7 and 9 to hit the lull between dinner and night time… I think. I’ll ask around here (I moved here a year ago)

It is too clear, and so it is hard to see.

We eagerly await your enlightening words, o’ Zenbeam

Okay, I confess that I only got about two hours sleep last night, because I fail to see why my previous statement is so funny.

Anyways, I think if we are going to meet at this restaurant, we should do it after the dinner rush. 7:00 or 8:00 is agreeable to me.

It was at the end of a long day at work. Sorry.

I’d think 7 or 8 also, but since I live here, I’ll defer to everyone with a long drive prefers.

One more thing. Is that SuperBowl weekend, or the weekend before? Or does it not matter to anyone?

It is too clear, and so it is hard to see.

I could care less about Superbowl weekend, I’m more worried about whether there’s a college game going on in Ann Arbor that weekend or not.

No more games in Ann Arbor for the year…and I don’t care about Super Bowl either.

The superbowl is scheduled for January 30, 2000. Nobody will have to miss that yawner.

No Basketball at UM that weekend either.

Well, are we all in agreement then? Come on, let’s get it together and make some firm committments. The gang in Chicago looked like they had a great time. I think we can do better

Okay, let’s put it on the spike.

Saturday, January 22, 2000 at 7:30pm.
Grizzly Peak Brewing Company

I’ll try to post a map to the restaurant and the nearest parking garage later. I’ll will also email BunnyGirl with this info if we have a consensus here.

I guess I’ll be the impartial judge between this little fete and the Chicago Jamboree.

All in favor, raise your right hand.

I’m there!

My right hand is typing, and my left hand has a baby in it, so I’m furiously nodding my head.

Since we’ve all seen the pics of the Chicago gathering, I think UncleBeer should get to Grizzly Peak first. That way, we have a familiar face to look for. Or we could all just wear propeller beanies.

A kick to top for ya.

Works here.

Hey Cristi, you bringing the baby?

Sounds good to me. Now if I can talk my hubby into it…
