You may be bitter about 1,300 posts you could have refused to read, but global warming is the largest genocide against poor people this world will ever see. There are people who clearly see what a monster Bill Cosby is, and the others, who find excuses not to see it. The people who view my world view as “schtick” are the same sort of people who start wars over lies about weapons of mass destruction and distort reality so that they can stay in power and provoke more evil in the world through fear. We see that on Fox News everyday, and we saw it today with Netanyahu mongering fear and war in Congress in order to win an election in a couple weeks. You think global warming is a hoax, you are entitled to your opinion, but I’m entitled to my opinion of the psychopaths who destroy the environment, who monger war, who dismiss the accusations of 37 women and counting.

Without commenting on the legitimacy one way or another on these issues, what my point is, is that if you really gave a shit about said issues, you’d approach debates/discussions re them with at least the smallest bit of seriousness and not completely discredit yourself from the start by calling people names and engaging in stupid hyper-hyperbole with every damn sentence you post.

No, it’s an unproven allegation, and nothing you can say (unless you’re hiding some actual proof) can change that. You may think it’s acceptable to call someone a rapist based on nothing more than some decades-old memories, but reasonable people don’t.
He might be a rapist. These women might be telling the truth, or they might be lying or mistaken. The point is, we can’t know at present, so the only reasonable thing to do is to say we don’t know, and not call him a rapist or them liars.
Am I defending rapists? Yes, ultimately. I’m defending the right of everybody, including rapists, murderers, burglars, and whatever, not to be called a criminal without proof.

The right in question is to be regarded by the state as innocent until proven guilty, and accordingly to not be punished by the state for commission of a crime until such proof is made.
