Hey Monty, what's the deal about Opal stabbing people in the back IRL?

Did Monty once go by “Chip?”

TSS is just a little fellow with big anger issues and a small mind. Just accept him as “special” and let it be.

You know who else once went by " Chip?"

Godwin!

I knew Chip Godwin, and he was no Adolf Hitler!

Not as a user name, just a sig line. During one of the board conversions, a lot of names were lost. That’s why his name is blank in this one as well as the earlier 1999 thread.

I was kind of on the fence about this but if you say it’s cool then I’m down.

To be fair, it was the expressway and Chip was only driving sixty miles an hour.

This may be a “smack down”, but it appears *you *are the one getting the “smack down”- and in fact you are doing it to yourself.

Sure, Monty made** a** stupid post. *All *of your posts are full of froth laden invective and mindless drivel.

All you are doing is making Monty look good.

So, you are now in favor of rape and child molestation, eh? And even encourage it? And you think Cosby’s fucked up.

A pox on all you mofos for putting that goddamned Frozen song in my head. Allayalls need to take Idina’s advice.

With yourself, being basically a mini-Bricker in some threads I’ve seen you in. But glad we got that settled.

I consider a number of things to be moral rights that won’t come to pass, this side of the resurrection of the dead. Others disagree with me. I think you’re in the same position, just with respect to different moral rights.

It was Cosby who got me to rethink that position. Cosby is protected from trial by a statute of limitations. (And to make it relevant to this thread, Opal out to be protected from Monty’s decades old vague grudge for the same reasons.) But outside a courtroom, isn’t the victim socially allowed to hold on to her version of events? Not pretend that the person is innocent? Victims’ family? At what point do clear minded members of the public avoid having drinks with Bill Cosby? 5 victims with similar events? 10? 20? 30? 37? We never gave Moammar Quadaffi this presumption of innocence. Saddam Hussein. This guy isn’t Dr. Cliff Huxtable, he’s Dr. Bill Cosby. Yeah, in a courtroom under criminal charges he is entitled to a presumption of innocence, but not anywhere else. This isn’t a situation where one, two or three women got together and may be making it up because they are crazy or greedy. It’s 37, none of whom will get money out of it.

Just to clarify then, is it your contention that the good and honest burghers of Salem were justified in their actions according to the prevailing standards in the late 17th century?

Now you’re making me hungry.

Mmmm… burghers of Salem…

I relish your thoughts on this subject.

I feel like I should put a plug in for the game Town of Salem. I love it, and it’s free.

You know, someone pointed out yesterday that cheesy puns are not welcome here.

If you haven’t read the whole thread yet, you should take some time to ketchup on it.

So lettuce enjoy this thread with no more puns, please.

You, sir, think that the lyrics to “Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah” somehow reference Tennyson and/or Homer. I daresay you don’t need ANYONE to share with you.

I’ll have you know I had a lot of rather esteemed company on that particular drug trip, *thankyouverymuch. *:stuck_out_tongue:
