I am always fascinated by people who do stuff like this.
New meaning to the word nightcap? Top you off? One for the road?
It looks really cool-I know nothing of computers, but how is it that his is so small and we have these big clunky things under our desks?
There’s a ton of neat mods on this site using the Mini-ITX motherboard.
The guy in the OP used a 3.5" SBC board (with Socket370).
That Coke can is so cute!
I take it these are not as powerful as the monsters under our desks, but still serve a function? (even if it’s for someone to say–hey, that’s cool!)
I’d like to see these made into mods:
a small, square handbag (think Queen Elizabeth)
container that Quaker Oats comes in
cowboy boot
That’s really f’n brilliant!!
Looks like someone needs to develop a less clunky SVGA cable for these modders. I wonder if there’s a way to take all of the stuff that resides in the big blue plug part and move it further down the cable so that the part connecting to the machine is more streamlined. Or maybe he needs SVGA to s-vid.
Anyway, people can be darned smart these days.
If I were very bad, I’d probably try to make a really weak pun on the word “dram” for the whisky bottle one. But that would be silly.
