Hopefully this helps end the seasons and seasons of shame. I love nothing more than going to the Garden for some beer, hockey, and hotties. But damn if the Rangers aint made it hard. If I see em blow another three point lead in person I’m gonna go nutz!

The worst was a couple years ago: No playoffs, last game of the season (for the Rangers), and they start giving out trophy’s before the game. All 12 of us who were at the game were booing. I think it should be a rule. No team that doesn’t make the playoffs should give any player a trophy in public that year. Jeesh!

The thing we kept hearing from Clarke and Snider was that the Flyers wanted to get fair value in return for Lindros. Considering that he wasn’t going to do shit for the Flyers ever again, and that one good hit will probably lay him out for the rest of his career, the Flyers would have gotten fair value if they’d traded him for a ham sandwich…even if they left off the mustard.

Number of Stanley Cups won by Philadelphia with Lindros: 0

They can do that without him.

Good riddance.

Not to mention the fact that the players that they gave up helped the Nordiques/Avs win two cups.
