Yeah, I think it’s a crime how people are forced to read threads about subjects they aren’t interested in. elucidator missed out on all the fun. The shattered shin bones. The cleated kick to the chest. Just the thought of the sweaty bodies of all those young men after two or three hours of running the field in the cold South African night.
Oooh and my imported gazpacho was so good with sour cream and a little imported Spanish chili olive oil under the buttery croutons on the bottom. I have been so prepared for this final game!

I believe that elucidator is being witty! RedFury was definitely behind his team. But he hasn’t posted in the World Cup thread since before the Final. I’m hoping he enjoyed watching his side win as part of a big crowd!
Not a huge sports fan, I’ve worked in a diverse group for years & enjoy watching the Cup. Now I know what my Spanish co-worker’s kids will get for Christmas!
