OK BornDodgy, you will get your warm welcome from me when you tell us where you’re username comes from. I can’t help but think that it’s a play on Born Slippy, the song at the end of Trainspotting, which was one of my all time favorite movies.
LOL I feel better already… maybe the positive welcomes??
I ll better post a pic of my Mr. Bear some time soon so there is no more confusion with Purple Bear’s hubby
Okay… my name…
I love the song born slippy, I love trainspotting (heared the song there first) and my first boyfriend told me “you looked so dodgy when I first saw you.” well thanx. I took it as a compliment obviously and put it into my name
End of explanation.
Coldfire where in the Netherlands are you?
I spent two weeks in Amsterdam this summer, and then some days in The Hague… though I didnt leave the flat much in the hague cause I was skinnt as hell.
okay…
I dont like signing with dodgy… so I just put my old online name which was Loony - and I am too lazy to put loony (see ppl) so I just put loons… okay… same amount of letters…
wow coldfire! your German sounds/looks good!
To answer your question:
Ich wohne in Salzburg.
I live in Salzburg.
Eigentlich in einem kleinen Kaff etwa eine halbe Stunde von der Stadt entfernt.
Actually in a small one horse town at about half an hour away from the city.
Supergeil! Salzburg ist eine seh schoene Stadt, ich war einmal da etwa zehn Jahre her.
I speak a little German on the side, Dodgy
But generally, I’ll fall back on my elementary English skills. The Anglos seem to prefer that, for some reason.
Seriously, auf Englisch, because my German is only about good enough these days to get me coffee or beer (for obvious reasons) I do wonder why you want addresses of 6th form colleges without suggesting which part of England you are going to.
Being in the United (until further notice) Kingdom, I thought I ought to try to find addresses for you. BUT I am in Scotland and all I could do would be to search the net anyway. And you will know what it is you are looking for. Still, you never know, the world is full of odd coincidences, so if you say which area of England you are moving to, maybe I’ll know something useful about it, or perhaps someone else will.
If you guys are going to be writing in German, I would appreciate it if you limited the scope of the conversation to bus stops, Cheese shops, and basic colors because those are the only words I remember from my German classes. Well, not the only ones, but the others would have to be posted in the pit
sixth form is a two years school that ends with taking your A-Levels. So it should be “half” the highschool
Schoolsystems are so complicated!! I am in just another type of school now and it will be quite terrible to get my grades “translated” into English ones…
Where to move?
First choice is Cambs cause I ve been there twice and I like it pretty much - but colleges are costy there - and there is only one in the whole fucking city that I can afford!! (Already applied for that one)
Second preference would be every place in England -
But actually I d go anywhere in the UK if the school is cheap LOL
I love swearing in foreign languages! But honestly: Brits have to learn a lot if it comes to swearing. No - sorry - just the English I guess - Scottish are quite good in it
But the English - when they swear they do it without any passion. Like… oh… shit… fuck… yawn you… and… die.
If you want to prove me wrong, make a wav of you swearing and scan your passport to confirm you are English… hehe
