I always thought it was horse chestnut trees. We had one outside our science block at school.

Well, it wasn’t actually meant as a joke, because boxwood does have a distinctive, kind of musty/bitter odor that’s kind of like semen. When you stop and think about it, yeah, it’s kind of funny, though…
