Hey Twickster, why'd you close this thread

Here’s the thread in question. It hadn’t been active in 5 months, but it was only fluff to begin with so it’s not like there was going to be anything new to bring to it, creating a new thread would have been silly and I was having a lot of fun reading (and then re-reading when it came back up) all the posts.

There really wasn’t any reason to close that thread that I can see.

I thought we stopped closing zombie threads, but as I’ve said before, even though we ‘technically’ relaxed those rules it seems mods still seem to close them willy-nilly anyways. Before I started this thread, I went back to check on the rules, and oddly enough, I found this thread where you specifically said “In MPSIMS and Cafe Society, we’re generally leaving them open unless there’s a good reason to close them.” In the thread you closed, you said “Yeah, if there’s a reason to revive a zombie, we allow it. There’s no such reason here.” That’s a direct contradiction of what you said earlier.

This isn’t just about that thread, it’s about closing them in general. I really wish you guys would just make up your minds. ISTM there’s no reason to close a lot of the zombie threads. Either leave them open, or reenact the old rule and automatically shut down any thread that hasn’t been active in more the X months.

Enh, you’re right. It seemed like it was getting too meta, but damned if I’m going to try to figure out where the line is between “meta” and “too meta.”

Typical mod stone walling.

What does it mean, “Mod Stone”?
Like, they stone a socket puppet or a troll to death or something?

You don’t want to know what we do once we kick off the jackboots in our Super Sikrit Mod Clubhouse.

No, when you kick off everything but the jackboots.

Shodan

No, Ma’am. I mean, Yes, Ma’am…I’m just gonna leave while I still have my lunch money, Ma’am.
