Hey, you got Miller in my Coors

Sam Adams is what got me started on my long beer journey, so I will always have a place in my heart for them. I’m not much of a lager drinker but, when it’s fresh, Sam Adams Boston Lager is still one of my favorites.

This last month or so, Sam Adams has been my “I’m home and it’s been a bitch of a day” beer.

But mostly the fridge is stocked with Sierra Nevada and Stone. True California microbrews with hops galore. How many IBUs are there in Coors Light? -5?

Stone’s Imperial Russian Stout is amazing.

Oooops. But they are kind of wrong. It was classified as a merger not an acquisition and I’m pretty sure they had nothing to do with shutting down that annoying and annoyingly popular Joe Canadian campaign.

So there. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hehe…“equals with Coors” ain’t much to brag about either…

Too late – I already have two sons who grew up on Coors. One drinks Odell’s when he can get it, the other prefers New Belgium, but they live far, far away from Colorado. I’ve been known to … um … “supply” them with a case of their favorite brew now and then. Otherwise, they reach for Coors, just like they were taught.

Hell, even I like New Belgium Wheat once in a while. But I wouldn’t drink it every day, even if it only cost two bucks a six-pack.
