Well, lno, Maeglin and I are going, so I’d say it’s a safe bet. More than one doper has learned to breathe fire since last year, too. Should be fun.
And, should it not be clear from the above, I’ll be there. I have no problem paying $25 or $30 for a few hours of drinking. I don’t much care about pizza, but if it’s ordered, I’d contribute.

I’m definitely in. I may bring Mrs. ShibbOleth if we can find a good sitter via the hotel. She’s a little phobic about Dopers, though. I can’t understand why, she’s only met a few, Zappo, thinksnow, Rue DeDay… hmm, I think I’m beginning to see a pattern here. Almost every Doper she’s met has been male. Maybe she thinks it’s a big, gay fraternity.

It’s close enough to walk from my house. I think this is in everyone’s best interests, don’t you?

I believe the plan is 7 pm at the Windy City Inn, on Oakley and Irving Park. Oakley is two blocks east of Western, and it’s on the southeast corner of the intersection.
Incidentally, I thought the Windy City had a patio, but it appears it does not. Poo.

I will hold the room block open until about April 30 at which time the 59.00 rate goes away, so book early, kids!!
Also, even if you’re on Jane’s list, please respond here (unless you’ve done so already) to confirm that you will be attending on Saturday night. We need an accurate count (as soon as possible) to pick the right room size and assure the bar of a minimum attendance number.

I’ve been digging around in the couch cushions, but I don’t know if I’m going to pull together enough money to be able to do this and fly out and all.
I could drive quite a ways to meet someone midway or something.
