I just have an uncontrollable urge to bang their heads together. They both talk like they’re addressing a 1st grade class. Does anyone else get this vibe from them?
And I’m not nuts about their projects, either. They don’t seem very imaginative to me.
What’s your take on 'em?
I can’t stand them either. I refuse to watch the show because of them. He talks like he is somewhat brain-damaged and she is far too perky. Plus the stuff they do is ugly.
They act like interior decorating cyborgs. I haven’t watched it in a couple of years, but even then, their ideas were outdated.
They remind me of the SNL NPR spoof. Bland, smooth-talking. They must stop finishing each other’s sentences. THAT is the most annoying thing about them.
I only watch it as a segue to the next show. But man…there’s no fuckin’ way I’d let them near anything in my house. Way too conservative and sorely lacking in taste.
I’ll tell ya what I’m lovin’, though…Crafters Coast to Coast. There’s always at least one segment that really catches my eye. They could dispense with the cutesy-wootsy, but this show reinforces my theory that creativity is EVERYWHERE! I could watch artists do their thing all day long.
They seem kind of like brother and sister but also kind of like long-married couple who are more platonic than passionate by now. Either way it’s a little creepy. And there’s no need to recap through pictures what you just showed five minutes ago. I do like when they do simple things though because that’s sometimes the foundation I need to learn from.
Heh, Crafters Coast to Coast! From them I have developed a burning desire for a kiln, even though I don’t do anything with clay (yet!).
