Hi, Jack! (ckalli1998)

I must have missed where you backed this up with anything. Care to enlighten?

Sure. Here are two examples just in the last couple of days. IIRC, there were more scattered around that thread. The poster admitted it, too, even if he tried to make excuses for it.

Here are two more examples of the plagiarism:

This guy sounds like a candidate for the Bill Door treatment.

Unfortunate considering I agree with what he’s been saying.

What was the excuse?

“I don’t want to acknowledge what happened, therefore it never happened.” You know, whatever Trump says.

IIRC, it was the typical “others do it too” weak excuse. But if you want to find out, just look it up in the thread yourself.

Counter-opinions are welcome, as long as they don’t insult the intelligence of those whose opinions are being countered. Which leaves out Trump supporters.

Anyone got a good spaghetti carbonara recipe?

This is from my memory (and it’s probably sacrilege for purists):

Boil spaghetti (1 lb) and saute chopped bacon (1 lb) and garlic (I also like chopped onions and sometimes even green peas and mushrooms). In a bowl mix 2 whole eggs, 2 egg yolks, a dash of cream, some parmesan, black pepper, and seasonings (I like an Italian herb mix). I like hot sauce too, but that’s up to you.

When the pasta is cooked, very quickly drain it and then put it back in the pot along with the bacon mix, then pour over and stir in the egg mix. The heat from the noodles and the pot should cook the eggs enough.

Then serve. It’s one of my very favorite dishes, and I’m going to make it tomorrow night.

I’m hardly a Trump patsy, as I disagree with how he’s handling Obamacare, for one thing. He should let it die as it was about to. As a whole though I agree with what Trump’s proposing and how he went about it. After all, he won. More than a few people agreed and support his ideas.

In terms of plagiarism, I said it’s unfortunate because it’s going to get the poster banned. Probably. And it’s unfortunate because I thought he was representing the side I support well and with reason (In the face of a load of unreasonableness, hyperbole, and vitriol).

It’s too bad. A counter opinion to the group-think around here would help the discussion as a whole. Right now it’s sorely lacking.

And now it’s apparent the fingers in the ear approach is about to take hold. Hurr-durr.

It’s obvious an opinion outside of your own isn’t welcome here.

Do you ever wonder why there seems to be such a high correlation (not 100%, of course) with things like dishonesty, plagiarism, open bigotry, trollery, etc., among Trump supporters on this board?

All you need is some smart right wingers to show up. Know any?

Sorry, snowflake. I know some Trump supporters are delicate flowers, and criticism and mockery can shatter them… perhaps you’d prefer aless threatening part of the internet?

There’s plenty of discussion here, for those who care to see it.

Yeah, Hewey you missed all the posts where people identified where he plagiarized his posts from. But then you’re always about 50 steps behind any discussion,

In your case, it’s pretty much impossible.

That was crafty as a fox. Brilliant!

When I was 18, my old man was so ignorant I couldn’t stand to be around him. When I turned 21, I was amazed at how much he had learned in just three years.

Your username reminds me of Cialis every time I see it.

amazingly he is perfectly ok with his plagiarism being identified with his real name, his college, his age - and well, honestly, his whole life.

I did. Can’t say that I read every thread around here, especially the political ones, as they tend to all be the same thing repeated over and over and over and over. It’s OCD central here.
