You’re doing it again. Defending a lie told by a liar. Why?
He cheated on his first wife, he bragged in his book about sleeping with numerous women, some married. The tape about pussy-grabbing was recorded just after he married Melania.
He cheats customers and contractors. He has threatened to ruin reputations if he is not kowtowed to.
He bullies people, he uses his money and position(and not just as President) to force his way even when he’s wrong.
He lies with an ease and frequency similar to how the rest of us draw breath.
That birtherism ran far too long for a joke.
It seems you share the same lack of morals as your idol.
Or used his media platform to forcefully perpetuate a blatant lie. Note that Trump and his crew have never claimed it was a long running joke, but hey, why believe them, right? When Trump advertises for insanotron Alex Jones it’s all fun and games, right?
Can you explain the joke to me? I don’t get it.
It was originally started by a rogue Hillary staffer
No, it wasn’t. See ample fact checks.
Serious question: we know that Trump says untrue things constantly. Why does it not bother you?
Because most of the things he says are true, and what really matters are his campaign promises, which he has been working like promise to keep, and some of which have already been enacted. That’s why it doesn’t bother us
This degree of cognitive dissonance looks painful. Does it hurt?
Alright, I’m signing off for now. I’ve took enough abuse for one day:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Ever look at his page on Politifact?
He hasn’t enacted shit.
I’m not trying to beat you up here: how do you know what he’s being untruthful about? Like when he said the real unemployment rate is like 40% or something - it’s a stone-cold fact that he was either lying or terribly misinformed. On Friday, he directed his spokesman to say that the real unemployment rate is now 4.7%.
When he said the real rate was nearly ten times that high, did you believe him? Or did you know that he was misleading people, but ignored the deceit?
Awww, someone needs a safe space.
I’m sorry, I still don’t get it. What’s funny about falsely claiming for years that the former president was a muslim and a Kenyan?
I’d really like to understand the joke.
Its like all his other ‘jokes’, like when he said the Electoral College was bad and we should go by the popular vote, or when he said unemployment figures were faked until he was in the Oval Office.
Of course, he sure kept that ‘joke’ up for a very, very long time, even trying to keep it up after the Long Form was released until even he realized how stupid he looked.
Don’t forget his side joke, sending those investigators to Hawaii to find the proof.
i wonder if those investigators ever came back?
BTW, you’re from NJ? I might have heard of that state. Tell me, at which Univerisity do you matriculate?
Princeton?
Stevens?
Rutgers?
Not them…? Well…ok…
Seton Hall?
Drew?
Stockton?
Wait… wait… it must be a University thats extremely right wing and not too picky, but above all concerned about the individual Freshman’s check clearing when deposited.
William Paterson?
Kane College?
…not Montclair State…?
(Is it true that one of those last three had homeroom, lunch and gym as required courses?)
Is it really that hard to say “yes, Trump lied about Obama’s birthplace for years, with no evidence, but I support him anyway for other reasons”? Why does he have to be perfect? I supported Obama but he had a lot of flaws and made mistakes.
You don’t have to defend the awful things people do, even if you support them on other issues.
I think was just glomming onto Shurriff Joe’s ‘investigation team’, in typical Trump cheapassedness.
On the off chance that cialis1998 is not a troll, my experience has taught me that trash simply does not change. Trash will always be trash, especially trash to this degree. So I would not knock myself out too much, but otherwise, have fun with him.
I think I saw the subject of this pit on SNL this week, but he was called Max.
What I really want to know, though, is whether saying he would “drain the swamp” was just another joke for Trump. Because despite railing against Goldman Sachs, he appointed six of their employees to his cabinet. When called on his hypocrisy and “misstatements” during the campaign, his excuse is usually that Obama (or one of the Clintons) did it too. Shouldn’t somebody who ran on the basis that the current administration was corrupt and that things needed to change be expected not to use "but everybody else does it " as his excuse? Also, what about his criticism of Obama for taking too many vacations and playing too much golf and his comments that when he was President he would not have time to play golf and would be so busy working that he would likely never leave the White House? Was he just joking then since he has gone on vacation and played golf for four out of five of his first weekends in office? Or if you are arguing that " the President is never actually on vacation " are you now willing to admit that it was wrong to criticize Obama for any of his vacations or golf playing? Shouldn’t all of the conservative pundits apologize for criticizing Obama for his travel costs when the Trump family is costing the American public ten times as much already?
