Hilarious Youtube Comments

Okay, so we all know that the Youtube comments section is pretty much the lowest form of communication ever. And that most of it is spam, or childish insults. But there are some that are just unintentionally hilarious.

Like, for example, this one on a Metroid Fusion 100% 2 Hours or Less run–the commentator was British, and he was playing through it through a bunch of videos. Among the typical ‘you’re so awesome’, ‘you’re great’, ‘fag’, there was one that was amusing:

And the guy who made the video actually responded, too! He said:

So what’s the most unintentionally (or intentionally) hilarious Youtube comment you’ve encountered?

(Because it tends to reach similar levels of stupidity, Yahoo Answers comments are also applicable)

I don’t have anything specific to contribute, but it baffles me why people don’t moderate their damn videos. Assholes post jerkish comments on friendly and interesting videos because they think they can get away with it, but the person who puts up the video has the power to jettison the jerks. They can either set the video so that all Comments have to be approved first, or they can go to the Comments page and click “Remove.” It’s as easy as that. Click click click, jerks gone. WHY don’t people do that??

yesterday I watched this video review of a phone I’m concidering buying. It’s basically four minutes of a British girl talking about the phone and its pros and cons. I figured I would read the comments to see if anybody had anything to object to what she had said. The top commentary was this:

I looked again at the end of the video and realized that there is a click sound before the video fades to black. I had to laugh at that, it was such a bizarre thing to write.

When I first got into Star Trek, I ran across THIS video of Bones bitchsmacking a pregnant Julie Newmar. Someone commented:

For a moment, I couldn’t breathe. When I watch the show, I have now taken to pointing out times when McCoy acts pimp. There are more than you might think.

I watched this awesome rap about the hard knock life in Arlington, VA. Someone’s ears perked up at this verse:

so they commented

Ahhh. I don’t know why that kills me, but it does.

It was on that video where that girls falls out of her grape stomping bucket thingy while on Fox news:

“Where’s your Jesus now, bitch!?”

On this video of Through the Fire and the Flames done in Mario Paint, someone said:

From the old Cartoon of He-Man and the Masters of the universe: The Shaping Staff

This WTF chat took place:

Bit of trivia: Paul Diny, writer, producer and editor in* Batman: the Animated Series *wrote this episode early in his career.
I have a question on how replies work on YouTube, clearly the last post appears first, and replies to an specific post appear indented under that post; however, on many occasions I do notice that a reply to a post appears **under **that post, with no indentation. The reply should appear on top of the post but I have noticed that this is not always the case. What gives?

First, you have the greatest youtube video of all time, which also contains the only reasonable and wise youtube comment of all time. I can’t find the exact comment I’m looking for, but paraphasing from memory:

“Anyone who calls themselves stingray deserves everything that’s coming to them”

There are only 10 posts shown per page. If the post is replied to, using the Reply button, then the post ought to appear below and indented.

If the reply is to a post that is not in the ten posts on the front page, i.e. it is for a post a few pages deep, then the reply is shown above the front page posts, not indented. Sometimes those replies look like they’re replying to the previous post, but in fact it’s to another post entirely.

However, if they don’t hit the Reply button and just comment straight out, even though it was intended as a reply, it appears above the posts.

I have a text file with some I’ve seen:

I think that was originally from a Bill Simmons column but I saw it on YT first.
