“dish” isn’t nearly as funny!
This is on behalf of my 90 year old mother.
When I was 5 my parents went to a movie and one of the female characters was poisoned or took an overdose.
One of the male characters said, “We’ll have to pump her stomach.”
I, in my loud 5 year old voice, said, “Are the going to give her an enema now, mommy?”
This is known in my family as “That Awful, awful movie.” No one knows the title.
OTOH, when my grandmother was still alive, she reveled in telling the story of how my mother would take off her clothes outside in the summer and run around naked. This would have been in 1928 or so.
