Assuming it’s true, and assuming she scheduled fireworks in the first place, is this a bad sign? Could be she canceled them for safety reasons. Or someone else vetoed them.
Being reported by such stalwarts of journalistic integrity as Brietbart, Redstate, Fox News and the NY Post.
ETA: Infowars.
What are your sources?
Not to mention TMZ, although I saw one secondary report quoting Politico as the primary source.
Apparently both candidates will be within a mile of each other in Mnahattan on Tuesday might. Maybe the Clinton campaign got word that the Trump campaign was going to accuse them of attempted assassination by fireworks, after the abject failure of the assassination-by-poster plot. I don’t know.
KaylasDad? Elvish? Can’t think of more than about sixty or seventy likely suspects.
Searched for both “fireworks” and “fireworks Clinton” with no results.
The only ‘legit’ source, depending on definition, for this is a People cite, referring to an NYPD press release/conference. It does seem likely that they cancelled the fireworks but not the Javitz Center gathering, which hopefully will be a celebration (fingers crossed).
People’s “Clinton Election Night Fireworks Canceled” article.
I heard that Trump has vowed not to cancel his “Everyone Eats & Drinks Free at Trump Properties for a Week” Victory promotion even if he loses, because he’s such a swell guy.
It’s not like if she lost they would still set the fireworks off.
“You ordered them! We have to set them off.”
::pant pant:: Okay, I was posting from my phone, away from the house. I figured this was probably some InfoWars nonsense, based on who told me, which is why I said “if this is true”. Should have put a question mark in the thread title. Well, you’ve put my mind at ease. Thank you.
TMZ is never wrong and they are reporting it as well.
She can’t cancel! She’s already paid the deposit.
I searched Google News rather than the main site. Try “Hillary Fireworks” as the search term and should do 'er.
Well, maybe she didn’t think they’ll do a very good job.
I can’t see any reason for canceling fireworks that would reflect on her certainty of winning.
I was searching Politico since you said it was cited as a primary source. I was looking to read the original story rather than whatever spin the right-wing sites put on it.
The People story choie linked to was pretty neutral.
CNN reported that she was due to have fireworks over the Hudson, but chose to set them off tonight in Philadelphia instead.
I thought she was gonna set them off inside the Javits Center, to shatter its glass ceiling.
The sound was just to cover the smashing of cellphones, anyway.
