It won’t stop Hannity, O’Reilly, Limbaugh, Coulter, Fox News, and other right wing propagandists. But I think it would stop the mainstream media organizations like CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, New York Times, Washington Post, etc.
You save your ire for her and not Trump, your own party’s nominee, chosen by a substantial majority of your party’s membership, therefore constituting your party. Is there a non-obvious reason for that?
In Clinton’s mind, they are part of the conspiracy too. So is Obama’s State IG and his FBI director, and although she’ll never say it publicly I’m sure she thinks Obama is against her too.

That vote total is meaningless. Candidates always get much higher popular vote numbers than their polling averages, since there’s no option for undecided on the ballot.
We know who Trump is. It’s your side, which claims to be smarter and more respectful of things like facts that seems remarkably clueless about the nature of their candidate.
Not all Democrats, of course, seems about half of the people here on SDMB know who she really is and will be voting for her anyway, which is fine. She is better than Donald Trump, no argument there.
But half of Dopers realizing she’s a liar is a bit low, given that 70% of the public has figured this out. Usually this board is more educated than the average American, not less. Oh well, we all have our blinders.

I’m behind her 100%, and I think in the case of both the emails and the Clinton foundation it’s a where there’s smoke there’s smoke, but no fire type of issue. I’m just frustrated by her inability to clear the smoke.

Quite true. Where those undecided voters and some third party voters go is the key, isn’t it? And given that 70% or so of Americans think she is dishonest, she has to somehow convince more of the undecided to vote for her than for Trump in order to win.
Trump’s problem is that he’s unfit. But you know what? It’s a lot easier to make yourself look more fit for the Presidency in two months than it is to change the perception that you’re dishonest. Trump’s finally getting a little more disciplined and his summit with the Mexican President went shockingly well. A good debate performance is all he needs to catch up or even pass Clinton.
Meanwhile, Clinton’s gone into her bunker.
“she’s a liar” is nothing but pablum. She’s lied, but she doesn’t lie nearly as often as Trump or most Republicans.

Three quarters of the smoke is coming from her. She creates her own problems as much as Republicans do. sure, it would be all-Benghazi all the time if there had been no email or Clinton Foundation scandal. I don’t understand how you can’t see that that would have been a much better situation.

A Secretary of State is always on the job. It’s really okay if sometimes she still did stuff for the charity her husband runs, since there’s no evidence it interfered with her duties.
Okay, when faced with a negative news story, when has she ever come clean about anything, ever? When has she not lied in an attempt to protect herself?
If your point is that your party would gin up something else, and that you’d be posting endlessly and indignantly about that instead, never letting the facts trouble you, well, you’re right.
That’s just a continuation of the persecution argument, as if it excuses her not following the rules. She didn’t turn over her emails as required by law. That’s a fact you just can’t get around.
And BTW, I talk tons of shit about Trump on various threads. The difference is that I don’t get guff for it. I drop my commentary, everyone agrees, and it’s all good. Much as Clinton could defuse stories just by coming clean, her water carriers here could just acknowledge her faults and move on.
What does putting him away look like? Right now “and then a miracle happens” is the only path to a Trump victory.
