I’m a night showerer. The beach shack that we are living in right now was built without such luxeries as heating or ventalation, so we have to keep the bathroom window open always to prevent mildew from taking over. At night the house still has some residual heat from the sun, but in the morning I can barely stand to enter that room to brush my teeth, much less get naked and stand under the pressurless leaky facet that masquarades as our shower.
Not that I shower often. One of the major advantages to our aging abode is our awesome deep clawfooted tub. My hair only ends up getting washed like once a week (its pretty short) because I can never get myself to shower when I can take a nice hot bath instead.
Hell, I’ll shower any time you’ll let me near the thing. I love a good shower. A shower every morning is an absolute minimum (wakes me up, flattens my hair, softens my skin for a shave, and makes me feel good and ready to face the day), but I’ll always try to have a shower if I’m going out in the evening too. I’d love to have a shower every night before getting into bed, but I usually get home pretty late in the evenings when collapsing into bed is the only option. And at least one nice, hot, hour-long shower on the weekend is an absolute necessity. Drag the speakers in to the bathroom, stick on a good mixed tape and I’m in heaven. If the flatmates are out I can sing to my heart’s content, and even if they’re not I might give it a bash.
And I swear to god, I’m not doing what you think I’m doing in there. I just love having a shower!
I always shower before bed. I can’t sleep if I’m sticking to the sheets. I’m not concerned with the hair angle, since I have very, very short hair. My morning routine is stand, relieve myself, socks, pants, shirt, shoes, out the door. I get up about four minutes before I have to leave, so no time for shower, besides, unless something catastrophic happens overnight, I’m still clean from the shower last night.
Over the summer I shower after I got home from work. Doing roofing is VERY sweaty work, and shit got all over me. But I normally shower in the morning on weekends, and during the school year.
Having all my classes start at 2:00 PM is VERY nice, hehe.
When I take only 1 shower I do so in the winter. When it gets to the summer I take 2 and sometimes even 3 showers a day. I HATE HATE HATE feeling sticky and dirty and when it’s summer here, it’s hot AND very humid, and I can feel incredibly nappy in a very short while.
I grew up as an evening showerer, but after I married, I slipped into the morning routine. I prefer to shower at night, and I will if I’ve had a grubby day. I hate going to work with wet hair, but not enough to force myself to shower every night - I generally just collapse in bed with a book.
I prefer an evening bath, with a book, and maybe a pleasant-smelling candle.
You know, why on earth AM I showering in the morning? It’s a habit I developed when I was working out in the morning before work, but now that the most vigorous thing I do in the morning is yoga, I could go back to evening baths.
Yeah, I shower at night. I have long hair too, and it will dry wavy if I sleep with a towel on the pillow. No way can I face a shower first thing in the morning. (Or afternoon, which is when I wake up on worknights)
I shower whenever I feel “icky”. I work midnights, so whenever I’m not at work or sleeping is an ok time for showers. Sometimes I wont shower for days. Pisses deadw0man off when she notices.

Usually I’m a night showerer but sometimes I’ll shower before I get up to go to work at 2:00am. I guess that would still put me as a night showerer wouldn’t it?
Always in the morning, regardless. I can’t imagine comming to work without (1) it’s wake-up effect and (2) being “fresh”.
Shower in the evening too just before bed. Admittedly, it’s more of a “since I’ve been married” thing as I didn’t do it as much when I was single but now I think it’s just kind of a nice thing to do for your partner, especially since I’m usually puttering in the yard beforehand.
