Hit the Showers! (A Poll)

When do you shower? At night, to prevent sleeping in your own funk? Or in the morning, to wake yourself up some and fix that nasty “bed head”?

I’m a morning showerer. You?

I prefer to be a morning showerer, but the dorm showers are always crowded in the mornings, so I’ve been getting clean at night.

In the morning…if I have company a shower is…acceptable at any time

In the morning - otherwise I am not awake enough to go to work.

I’m a morning girl. My curly hair doesn’t fare well overnight. I have to tame it every AM.

Um…well, I don’t take showers. I take baths. But I am a night bather. I have a terrible habit of waking up too late for baths in the morning, plus I have a houseful of kids to get going in the mornings, as well.

I bathe at night, and when necessary (about every other day) I wash my hair in the mornings.

In the morning. I have oily hair and it needs refreshing before anyone’s allowed to see it.

Normally just in the morning to wake up. But if there is a funk involved, anytime. And anytime someone wants to scrub my back for me, morning, noon or night.

i prefer to shower in the morning, but often i know i won’t wake up early enough to shower, so i’ll do it the night before.
morning showers wake me up, but i’m such a slug in the morning that it usually takes me 20-30 minutes. night showers only take 5 minutes.
in other words, i usually end up showering at night.

good evening friends,

morning or night? i shower when i get home from work. as an alarm technician i have usually spent the day climbing around attics or basements. i like to wash the sweat of the workday away, and eat dinner in clean, fresh clothing.

One of the things I routinely give thanks for was being born into the era of indoor plumbing.

Morning showerer, but it need not be an either-or situation. If I have noteworthy funk to sleep in, an evening shower is just the ticket.

I am most emphatically a night showerer, simply because I’ve got pretty long hair and it takes a while to dry. School starts at 8:15. My ride is at my house at 7:50. I get out of bed at 7 a.m. as it is, and there is no waaaaay in hell I’d get up at like, 6:15 to shower and dry my hair. Plus my family always hogs the showers in the mornings. I need my sleep, as much as I can get. It’s simpler.

Besides, going to sleep all clean and sweet-smelling is nice.

I’m a night shower convert, too. I can’t deal with “sleeping in my own funk”. I have a white-collar job so it’s not from hard labor sweat [sub] or perspiration for all you delicate ladies out there[/sub]. I just feel better being clean in the sheets.

Night time bather. Well, a soak really. I never wash my hair at night otherwise I’ll have blisters on my scalp come morning. In the mornings I shower and alternate between shaving my legs or washing my hair.

I shower when I get home from work since, in the words of my SO, I “smell like bakery” when I walk through the door. Besides, I gotta wash off all the sweat and the occasional chocolate smudges on my face.

Mmmm… I kind of shower whenever I get the chance. Not in an OCD kind of way–it’s just that I’m in animal science and so I am frequently…less than fragrent.

I always have to shower before bed after I’ve partied though. No matter how drunk and exhausted I am, I just can’t go to bed smelling like bar. Unless there’s a compelling reason to go straight to bed…

Night time. In college, I couldn’t stand sleeping with the bar-smoke and beer smell and it stayed with me. Basically, not wanting to sleep on dirty sheets every night is the main thing.

I shower at night. I wash my hair and in the morning so it dosen’t stick up.

uhhhh… both actually…

In college (and all while growing up), I showered at night. I just couldn’t drag myself out of bed in the mornings, plus, that’s when lots of other people showered.

But now I shower in the morning. I feel gross all day if I don’t. Plus there’s the bed-head hair problem.
