Sites like this one or this one report that famous conquerors like Napoleon or Hitler were suffering from “ailurophobia”, or fear of cats. I find this hard to believe. Do people known for their lust for conquest and power really tend to fear or dislike the independent cats, or is this just another legend without any historical backing?
