Hmm, my favorite recipe. (ghah!) What the hell did you do to it?

Well, I just picked up some chocolate cookies. I love cookies, I fgghhhhghggh :spits it out in disgust::

What the… These are hard and crunchy.

I looked up cookie recipes on the internet, only to find out this is how cookies usually are, unless you undercook them, or add so much foreign matter. (as I do, such as big m&ms, chunks of caramel squares, and so on) I was horrified the first time someone gave me what they called a “brownie”, only to find out it tasted more like a piece of cake. Apparently, I have to ask for “fudge-like” brownies when I go to another state. Odd. Also, I when to a fastfood place yesterday, for the first time in five years, only to find out that they put mayonnaise on hamburgers as a matter of course. Did the characters in Pulp Fiction see mayonnaise on hamburgers as something they have never seen in America?

P.S. I am certain I say another thread on this very subject, but I cannot find it.

The amount of butter used makes a big difference in the final product. But the harder cookies are better for dunking in milk that soft ones.

What, no stories of ::snorting giggle  :: correctly made, but alien tasting homebrewed beer?

Brownies
Good, easy, and gooey. If you’re a real sicko, toss in some chocolate chips. Note the low oven temp.
Peace,
