So, was watching Mythbusters last night and a commercial came on for some game called Hobbit, Battle for Middle Earth. It’s a free download on the iPad. Nothing having anything else to do last night, and since my hotel room has WiFi I figured, what the hell and downloaded. it. It’s some sort of city building game. I have no idea what I’m doing. Just building buildings (which all take a long time to make) researching various things (same) and…that’s about it. There are all sorts of things that are trying to get me to spend real money to buy things, but I’m not shelling out money until I figure out what the game is.
From some of the things I’ve seen you can build armies and attack other peoples cities…and presumably they can do the same to me at some point. So far I haven’t figured out how to build troops, or what I should build…or really, anything else.
Anyone playing this game, and if so, any tips on what I should do besides deleting it from my system and going back to Pirates!
