I recently installed a symbol font called “Hobofont,” which is about three dozen symbols that tramps and vagrants (as Herald Froy called them, “Useful citizens” 
) mark on fences and walls. They include some I know:
A reclining cat: “Kindhearted lady.”
A triangle with raised arms: “Man with gun.”
Two linked circles “Don’t give up.”
Several small triangles: “Tell pitiful story.”
A crescent moon and a cross on their side : “Dishonest man” (cf. the symbol of the Unification Church.)
And so on.
Are there any Internet sites that identify all these symbols?

Well, nobody asked me who Herald Froy is.
The Hobofont includes a symbol like a plain handwritten “X” which is not identified on that site. I don’t know what it means; the fraction “2/10” came out as "“Crooks around”…
