So now you’re looking at The Lions and The Red Wings, the second of whom can now be classified as a disappointment. So then all you’ve got is the Lions. Sad, really.

You have to remember something about the lions though. The Lions have a very strange relationship with the people of Detroit. No matter how bad they get, the fans in this city will still be optimistic about the coming season. Every draft day is treated like the big turning point they need. We love the Lions, and their crappy play can’t change that. They’re just as bad as the Tigers(well, almost as bad), but while the Tigers had a game this season where they drew a whopping 8,000 fans, The lions will be close to capacity every game next year. The point being that even though they suck, we still enjoy the Lions.
