I just bit the hell out of my tongue, no blood, no loose pieces - thankfully, but by Og it hurts! It was 10 minutes ago that I did it, and it’s numb on the end of my tongue.
So who else hurt themselves recently?
My wife’s co-worker bit his tongue so badly a week or so ago, his doctor suggested surgery! He somehow managed to bite a flap out of the top of his tongue (it must have been twisted in his mouth), and the flap hasn’t healed down properly.
So now he’s got a big, raw lump on his tongue. They want to excise it, before he bites it again. :eek:
Well, I have two nasssssty canker sores, but it’s not my fault, dammit.
You definitely have my sympathy, though.
Paper cut myself on a cardboard box this weekend.
Felt like I had amputated my thumb.

Oh man, biting your tongue is THE WORST! I always bite the insides of my lip, then it doesn’t heal and turns into a canker sore which also doesn’t heal. I have two right now and they suck!
The metal corner of my bedframe pokes out between the covers like a rusty knife, sharp and deadly, and I’ve scraped my ankle on it twice now. headdesk
