That does sound terrible but I have no idea if you are saying you are cold, hot, dry, or moist. It sounds a little chilly to me but you referenced an A/C. What species are you?
Is it day or night where you are?
Hot and “sweating like a whore in church” as my dad would say. I told him earlier I was sweating like a pig and his response was “Pigs don’t sweat.” Well, whatever old man…
It’s night, about 11:30pm.
Wasn’t it worse (hotter) in the day then? 70 degrees sounds kinda nice. . . in the middle of the day.
It has to be higher than 70F. This Heat Index chart shows that 70F/90% is only good for an apparent temp of 72F
OK then. 21C at 94% humidity sounds unpleasant if you’re trying to sleep. Otherwise it doesn’t sound too bad to me. Here it’s 16C, and 90% humidity in the middle of the afternoon. We’re all in jumpers.
Ah…sucks to be you, I guess.
I’ve got a nice cooling rain going with a little breeze… 24C temperature… I’m good.
Yesterday tho… 100% humidity (well, my slightly off-calibration hygrometer showed 108% but that was probably just the beads of moisture running down the walls hitting it) and a warmish 34C. No movement in the air all day.
It felt like being in a really sucky sauna for the whole day.
70?? Celsius? Because at 70 F, I’d be wearing a sweater. Are you serious with this?
Yep. The actual temperature was in the upper 80s today and the humidity probably wasn’t as high as it is now (maybe upper 70%) but I was still sweating my ass off standing still in the damn shade. I hate MN, land of 10,000 lakes most of which aren’t worth a damn to fish in so what good are they anyway? Stifling humidity is what they’re good for, apparently.
Weather.com says it’s 69F, “feels like” 69F. I’ll tell you what it feels like: it feels like a migraine and like I’m breathing through a wet washcloth.
I’m cranky because I have to chug water like it’s going out of business and my bladder apparently makes a fantastic fetal trampoline and I’m sweaty and headachy and now it’s late enough that I’m hungry (again). But, hey, who wanted to sleep to anyway, right?
Yes, GHO57, it’s like a sauna (which I hate anyway) that you cannot get out of. All freaking day long.
Rawr.
Yuck, really? I hate humidity. It ruins whole days.
IIRC, the OP is just entering the third trimester of pregnancy, which makes this rant totally make sense to me. Also, while the temperature doesn’t look too bad, it’s kind of lame for 11:30 at night, and that humidity level looks atrocious.
70 degrees? Oh man, never ever visit Florida.
We’ve been in the feels like temps around 110 for a couple weeks. Plus we have daily thunderstorms which pushes the humidity to 100%. Then it feels like a steam bath when the sun comes out again.
70 degrees here is wonderful weather. 94% humidity, well we’re used to humidity here so that wouldn’t bother us.
Yes, yes I am. You’re in AZ though so you’ve got that “dry heat” thing going on and, yeah, 70 probably feels cool to you. I still can’t imagine wearing a sweater at 70F but people in CA wear parkas and scarves and what not when it’s 60 (I’ve seen it, it’s hilarious) so I don’t doubt that you feel cool (cold?) at 70.
I sat in a sauna once (once, and I’ll never do it again) for like 20 minutes and it’s not like I know how they work, exactly, but the person next to me kept dumping water on the rocks over and over and it got nastier and nastier in there until I absolutely had to get out.
This is so much worse than that. I’m sitting here doing nothing more strenuous than typing and I am sweating like I just… did something a lot more strenuous than typing…
It’s not so bad in winter, I’ve heard.

Don’t be such a pansy – no A/C here either. I feel like a Jew at Auschwitz.
Take a cold shower.
I don’t typically like beer all that much yet all day long I’ve been thinking “Man, a beer would be so great right now.”
Imagine my disappointment.
I did, like two hours ago. My hair still isn’t dry.
I guess I could eek out a little sympathy for you then, if you’re pregnant. After all, your blood volume is doubled and I well remember those sweaty, red-faced days. But still, if it was 70 here I’d be soooo freaking happy, and it’s monsoon season, so low humidity? Not so much.
Dude, why are you such a crybaby? In my state, it’s 100 F all summer long, and the state government banned air conditioning so we all just sit around and sweat all day and hate each other but WE LOVE IT because we’re totally used to it, which makes us cool and you a big giant wussy crybaby pansy.
(How was that? I’m trying to participate in the spirit of the thread. Should I have thrown in a Hitler joke? Would that help?)
Haha! Yes, you definitely need some kind of potentially offensive “I feel like…” in there.
You’re clever, you can do it.
Um, let’s see… It’s so hot, I feel like someone just flew a jet plane into my building!
Or, it’s so hot, I feel like Sylvia Plath’s head on cookie-baking day! (Too esoteric?)
