Ergh, that’s the way it happens, isn’t it? It seems like half the people I know who planned so carefully when to get pregnant had something ruin all their plans once they caught. I’m sure you guys will be fine!
FDA should have openings for their microbiologist category soon. Don’t know if that is the sort of pay/position he is interested in, but there are sure to be at least a few slots in the D.C. area.

Oh sven, I’m sorry! My husband’s layoffs so closely paralleled my pregnancies that the last time he got laid off I took a pregnancy test for that reason alone (that one was negative).
Wait, didn’t you get married quick quick partly because of the health insurance? How will this affect that?
