And the Hershey Kisses are all gone, thank god. Won’t be buying them again–too many calories…

You want to know how noble I was today? At the grocery store they had Lindt truffles on sale, and I didn’t buy any. Even though I wanted to get every package they had, dammit!
I should be working, or at least pretending to try to work, but I just feel so yucky again that I’m seriously contemplating crawling in bed and giving up for the evening. Would someone please send me a house elf or three to do my work for me so I can relax and get completely well and not feel all this pressure to work when I simply don’t have the stamina?

Sounds like everyone had a great weekend. We went to Lowe’s for my birthday today, and I picked up twelve solar lights that were on clearance, and some tinted poly to test on the floor. Do you think a reddish oak would be terrible? People keep scrunching up their noses when I tell them what I want.

I feel ashamed, I only discovered Alton Brown about six months ago. I love his show, it’s quirky enough, and a lot of the back stories and pointers are great!
