Here doesn't come the sun- a MMP

It’s cloudy, today will be the 12th straight day of rain, and my sinus is still draining. On the bright side, tomorrow is my Firday, and Wednesday is hockey season.

First.

The apocalypse is upon us - no posts from Moommm or **Swampy **this morning. Never turned off the alarm from yesterday’s 4:20 wake up call to go ‘walk the dog’. :smack:

Happy Moonday!

According to my phone it’s a sunny 48 degrees outside, but since it’s cloudy out I obviously cannot trust my phone.

Nothing special planned for today - do I have an exciting life or what?

After a fairly miserable weekend (cold and wet), it’s going back into the 80’s with only a 20% chance of rain on Firday. We’ll see.

On the negative side, there is a large conference this week so I have to pull out the jacket and ties for 3 days, which I hate…ties are the best example that Satan exists and has a wicked sense of humor.

Otherwise, Moanday blurfage is in effect.

PS–Reminder-go see “The Martian”.

Okay, this is cool - on the far side of the building across from me is the unmistakable grey green sky of a stormy day. However from behind my building, the sun is so bright, that it’s reflecting off the white railings on the decks that face me, to the point that it temporarily hurt my eye to look at it.

also, of course, BLURF. and Spidey and flytrap are on my list this week.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeinated, purtified, dressed and irkin’ from da cave this mornin’. I need to go to a couple places in the north forty this afternoon, so it just made sense to me to irk from home this mornin’ bein’ as where I need to go is closer from da cave than the orifice. So, YAY!

'Tis dreary, drizzly and yuck outside. The temp is 67 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 68 for the day. Like MetalMouse said, it’s supposed to get back to the low 80s and sunny by Wednesday. We shall see.

Spidey apocalypse averted.

ETA: Happy Moanday Y’all!

Moi?

:dubious:

Just flew in from Paris on Saturday (and boy, are my arms tired. Rim shot). Paris was sunny and upper 60s-low70s, simply gorgeous. Here in no. Illinois it is grey and 60-ish.

I have wicked jet lag.

I finally watched Fury Road last night. Now that was a good car chase movie!

Nothing planned except some errands. My can opener died yesterday and then I managed to melt my only slotted spoon by turning on the wrong stove burner. So I have to replace those and sometime today I need to finish the story that’s “due” today. I stayed up until All Hours last night finishing up another story that had nothing to do with the topic I was given. :smack: Stupid brain.

The sun is coming out.
About time!

I think I finally figured out the flower growing in the back yard, a spider flower. Icky name but a pretty flower.

Mixed sun and clouds but its supposed to warm up some later today and the rest of the week. Possible rain for Knoebels but to me all that means is less amateurs getting in my way.

Blurf.

Blurf.
Blurf.
Arthritis flare. I’m an extra-grumpy bunny today.

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

BLURF

Wow, Butters. What the heck happened?

We are going to a Single Fund effective Oct 1. My accounts payable lady wants all cash disbursements sent to her no later that the 9th. I have spent the entire day so far paying my vendors and am only about half way done at this point. Instead of waiting on invoices like I normally do I am just requesting they be paid everything in the accounts.

When these payments start hitting the bank accounts in a few days I imagine my phone will be ringing off the hook with questions about the payments. Invariably the payments will be more than they were expecting due to their crappy bookkeeping. I just don’t have time to explain all this.

Blurf!

It’s a sunny, pretty day out, but I’ve been doing inside stuff between naps. I go to hav the excavation at 2:00.

In other news, my microwave died on me when I was nuking soup for lunch. Do those things have a sense of when it would be the most inconvenienttime to have to replace them. I got 20 years out of my first one(it was a top of the line model no longer made) and it died two days after coming home from the hospital a few years ago. The second
one died three years ago, again right out of the hospital. Oy! Now I have to dirty a pan to heat up stuff. That’s really roughing it. :stuck_out_tongue:

What on earth did Daniel Boone do when his micro wave quit working?

He kilt him a b’ar.

I finally got my story assignment done. It’s still very drafty but it’s done and I can go do something else this afternoon. Like sit on the porch and read now that the sun’s come out.

Howdy Y’all! Irk has been survived. Not too bad of a day just dreary and drizzly. Chili with fixin’s, and cornbread will be dindin. 'Tis a comfort food kinda night.

I am out of here. Gotta get home to my baby. Word is the VIP visit will be Wed so I shall bring my Vortex Catapult back to irk everyday except Wed. Damn, I got a lot of stuff done today. Proud of myself.

Later. :p:D:rolleyes::cool::eek:
