matt, I was referring to “Ensign Redshirt” who got picked off before the first commercial. There was a DS:9 episode in the very beginning of the last season right after Ezri showed up, and they’d taken this visiting ensign out drinking, and Ezri walked him back to his quarters, and he was a little drunk and hit on her… and then got wasted by some wacked-out homicidal Vulcan. The episode involved Ezri getting in touch with Joral, her psychotic past host, to “be a killer to find a killer.” Odo, of course, stopped her in time before she actually killed herself (IIRC).
But the dead chinky boy was adorable.
