Hooray! Last day at work today!

Senrio Dopers might remember: Some time ago, I guess it was in January 2002, I ran a Pit rant about the draft, and that they wanted to draft me, and that I didn’t know what to do.
So I went for the conscientious objector thing and found, thanks to a fresh amendment to the appropriate legislation in summer of 2002, a nice job in our local town administration where I earned close to nothing, but also didn’t have to work all that much. Running around, most notably to the copy machine, assisting in the town library that’s always shorthanded, posting bills to advertise municipally organized events, stuff like that.
I began this on September 1 (or actually 2, since 1 was a Sunday - another day saved  ), 2002, did it for twelve months, and had my last day today. Hey, I’m free now!

So first of all I’m going to do close to nothing (apart from spending one week on vacation) for a month and a half. In the mid of October, I’ll commence studying law with aditional economics classes at Bayreuth University (the Richard Wagner fans might know that town), and I’m looking forward to it.
