In the playoff game against Linton, Ollie has two free throws. After he has made the first, the scoreboard is shown with the score of Linton 55, Hickory 54. Ollie then makes the second shot, time runs out, and Hickory fans flood the floor to celebrate their victory. WTF? Did free throws count for 2 points in those days (kidding)? It’s late (early) and maybe I just saw that incorrectly. I don’t see this listed as a goof on IMDB or anywhere else…
Yep, I missed something. On rewind, I realize I looked away at just the moment the scoreboard changed to show 55 instead of 54 for Hickory.
