Hopefully an easy week MMP

Not while playoff baseball is on!

Meh. I have pumpkin ice cream & pumpkin beer, as well as orange cream swirl ice cream & TGIFriday’s Orange Dream drink.
Do I make a [del]root[/del] beer float or a [del]milk[/del] vodka shake. Decisions, decisions. Both sound like a winner!

Spidey life’s too short, do both. Not a big punkin fan here, but, hey, if it floats yer boat, go for it!

I lurves pun’kin pie!

Home from a damp day at Faire. Proper English weather or liquid sunshine - take your pick of ways to say it’s raining.

A pumpkin pie just came out of the oven. All I need now is a fork and some Cool Whip. Delightfully, I happen to have both.

Give me a sweet N.O.T. pie anytime. That’s the Thanksgiving pie for me!

I would not want pumpkin beer.

Me, too!

I’d try it once.

The night ain’t over yet.

sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep

May no new thing arise.

ha! :-x

Swampy, I followed your wise & sage advice, which makes the the obligamentory durnken psot! Shake coulda been smoother, but then I want to actually do something tomorrow.
P.S. It floated my ice cream, not my beer.

May I suggest Buffalo Bill’s or River Horse

It’s 3 am

so why am I awake?

I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you

It seems I can’t catch a break. The small bruise under my eye progressed to my eye being swollen shut this morning. At 10:00 AM I went to the walk-in clinic got some eye drops and “just in case” antibiotics. By 6:00 PM the “just in case” became reality. By 9:00 PM hubby loaded me and my swollen FACE into the car and went to urgent care. It’s now 1:45 AM. We just got home. IV antibiotics, lots’o pain meds. I have to go back tomorrow for more IV antibiotics. Nothing is ever easy.

Dang, Nurse! - it appears you were getting home about the same time idiot Higgs started whining and scratching at her cage door. So letting us sleep in yesterday was a fluke. Stoopit dog. But she’s been fed and she’s gnawing happily on her new antler while I’m wishing I could go back to bed. Stoopit dog.

Today is a crab day, but neither of us expect anyone to go out. It’s also the day we submit our timesheets for the previous week so **FCD **can get paid. Next week, he’s on only 1 day - I’m guessing the season is ending early. No big surprised there.

With luck, we’ll get the pachysandra planted today. I’m not going to be as meticulous as I was in the spring. Rather than separating individual plants, I’m going to plant clumps. It’ll be faster, and I think it’ll result in better rooting and spreading. I’m hoping we can get it done in a couple of hours this morning, because I know my sweetie wants to watch football. His greatest joy these days is watching Washington lose. Simple pleasures for simple minds, I guess… :stuck_out_tongue:

I was going thru some files yesterday and I found paperwork I should have filed last year for a state clean energy grant on our pellet stove and wood stove. Since it’s worth up to $1200, I decided it would be a good idea to do it. But it requires the signature of the installer, so **FCD **is taking it tomorrow to get everything signed, and with luck, we’ll get a check. We shall see. I can’t believe I forgot that amount of money last year. dammit.

Ah well, Happy Sunday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 59 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 78 for the day. A nice south Jawja Fall day. This means da cave windows stay open. YAY!!!

Nurse! dang! Hope you’re feelin’ better soonest.

MOOOOOOM Higgs knows she can get away with it because she’s cute.

Now I need more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, purtification for deheathenization shall commence.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Do you know something that I don’t? :dubious:

Happy Sunday!

I am up too early considering I woke up at 3am and couldn’t get back to sleep.

It’s a chilly 46 degrees with a projected high of 64.
I guess I should change out of my shorts and t-shirt and into sweats before I run out to the store this morning.

I was thinking that something new arising around here would be a good thing

I shall quote that great philosopher, Winnie the Pooh:

“You Never Can Tell.”

Morning, it’s laundry day.
{{{{Nurse!}}}} hope the drugs help.

Unless you’re going to :eek:Wally World:eek: then you need to put on hair rollers, a ratty bathrobe, and Crocs.
