Does anyone else see a bit of irony in a post from a mod about PG-13 ratings…who is now wearing two pairs of underoos?
On second thought, “Moderator Underoos Off” would have had worse implications

So here I am skipping around in the website posted by istara and I find this little gem:
Monty Python’s Flying Circus (Re-runs) -viewer comments…
This is the most morally bankrupt piece of trash I have ever seen. Full of blasphemy, sick violence and levels of profanity and nudity that would be unacceptable on network TV in America (which itself contains too much), no decent Christian should go near this trash, and the fact that it is regarded as ‘classic’ shows how this country needs firmer Christian values.

Most morally bankrupt piece of trash?? Okay, I know about strict moral standards and all, but all I could think when I saw this review was John Cleese saying,“HULLO, POLLY?!!! POLLY PARROT??!!” Now I’m just racking my brains trying to figure out which part was the morally offensive part? Oh, sure , sure, their Holy Grail movie (not to mention the Life of Brian movie) was all that and a piece of cake, but their TV show? What was so awful about their TV show? <sigh> I just can’t remember it very well.
Sorry for the diversion, but you know how it is. It all fun and games until the parrot ends up dead.

Maybe the “reviewer” saw the Dead Bishop sketch.
“Eeee, there’s another dead bishop on the steps.”
“What’s his diocese, then? You can always tell by looking at their necks. . . .Anyone for rat tart?”
