Horror Movie Dreams

Last night, I dreamed about a story where a woman’s severed head floated and wept incessantly, and kept the Golden Gate Bridge soaked in blood. Not anyone’s blood in specific, just blood. This kept it preserved and prevented rust. In my dreaming mind, I knew this story was an old Thai legend.

What dreams of yours have contained elements that would be at home in a horror movie?

I have had horror movie dreams - really, really long and scary ones where I wake up with my heart pounding! I hate them. I don’t watch horror movies any more. :frowning:

I had one in which I was turning into one of the fish people.

I was reading a lot of Lovecraft at the time.

Odd you should post this OP, just this night I had a dream about a semi-haunted house and the Devil. Apparently someone had made a pact with the Devil that the Devil would resurrect him in turn for helping the devil come back to earth. Whatever intervention the man did, it worked and the Devil was racing through the rooms of the house as a ghost.

However, the Devil did not keep his pact. The last scene of my dream shows the Devil showing the hopeful dead-guy the contract. It uses the word “will resurrect” rather than the word “shall”, and so is invalid. (I’ve been in the requirements business for far too long, apparently.)

Yes, because applying the rules of any living language to contract disputes is just asking for trouble.

I’ve been having recurring dreams about Zombies. They can only be killed by squirting Windex at them.

Your guess is as good as mine.

OMG - so last night I had a long horror movie nightmare. I was a college student (I’m 55 IRL) and a friend’s father was relentlessly stalking me. I was scared to death (not literally). Creeeeeeepy. And very suspenseful.
