In context, out of context… you’re an idiot who’ll never learn because you’ve convinced yourself that’s being a jerk is funny and/or a sign of wit. You’ll just keep trying variations of the jerk routine, not understanding why it isn’t working, until you get banned.
I’ll vaguely enjoy watching the process, for what it’s worth.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, and moral encouragement, Bryan. You know how important your approval is to me.

I’ve seen such wildly different picks after the first 3 that it’s pretty tough to predict who will be there at the end of the first round this year. Personally, I’m high on Marshawn Lynch, but sometimes he’s already gone by then. Its really a bad year for finding value at that spot, you can go completely against the standard way of thinking and try to grab both Moss and Owens at that spot, but its always tough to get consistent stats when you base your team around WRs.

I need to unhijack and start a game room thread–what started as a “example show of solidarity” has turned into a potentially interesting discussion.
Out of curiosity, would anyone like to clarify the distinction between ‘playing Devil’s Advocate’ and ‘trolling’ for me? How do YOU determine one from the other when the dividing line is blurred?

Devil’s Advocate is usually stated outright, and the post is worded significantly more respectfully of the opposing side than you’ve bothered to do.

So, if you stick DA in front of any outrageous, or controversial comment, it excuses you from being accused of trolling? I’m surprised that hasn’t been abused by all those nasty trolls!

Goodness, but you’re an idiot.
I’m still trying to get over the irony. How can a guy rack up over 1,000 posts in just a shade over two months - on a message board that prides itself on the special level of geek its members have attained - criticize anyone else’s choice of a geeky hobby?
The mind - she boggles!
Before you start acting all high and mighty there Ivan, maybe you need to back away from the keyboard for awhile, crawl out of your momma’s basement and take a walk in the sunshine. It may do you some good.

I’m surprised you can spell it. Define ‘idiot’.

Sorry, I won’t dance for you, you drooling cretinous simian that speaks and thinks it is man.

You also have to word things respectfully and not carry on like a tool like you have been.

I just wanted to point out that I find this incredibly disturbing, no matter what activity (okay, legal activity) came before the and.

This thread has me confused. Many locals where I live consider Yankees to be animals. I’m fairly hairy. I’m actively involved in a Fantasy Football league. Am I a … *Furry? *
Not my thing, but I dig interesting people. People who are wigged out by oddity are the ones that I keep away from.

Yeah, that’s the sort of attitude Hitler would encourage! (Mildly NSFW comic linked.)
I have a confession to make…when I was a teenager I did the whole “I have a special connection to the soul of a cat!” thing and would thus sleep all day, stay up all night, and ignore my family except when I wanted something from them. Wait. That might have been adolescence and not furridom. Anyway. I really don’t give a crap what other people do, so long as they aren’t harming anyone. Why is it necessary to mock anyone for doing something you don’t approve of if it isn’t harmful? Let them put on kitty ears or pretend to be lizards or howl at the moon. If they were mooching off of society to pay for their interest, molesting teddy bears in the mall, or generally being assholes, then sure, give them hell. For that behavior, not for the furriness, which is a separate thing.
When somebody engages in an activity I have no interest in and find stupid, I simply ignore it. Why, exactly, should furries not get this same courtesy?
